Our work began with a simple observation: the most important operational lessons are rarely the easiest to retrieve. After Action Reports are meant to preserve them, but in practice they are buried in unstructured files, and disconnected from the decisions that actually matter. The result is a system where operators cannot actually use past lessons when they need it.

Haldune replaces that manual process with an AI facilitator that records debriefs in real time, asks clarifying questions, and generates reports that fit existing documentation workflows. Each debrief becomes a piece towards a searchable knowledge base that helps teams retain lessons across operations, terrain, threat types, and outcomes.
